I only get zits on my neck. I get the cystic kind that are under the skin and don’t develop a whitehead.
My method of dealing with it is unusual. I swipe my neck with rubbing alcohol (70%) on a cotton ball. It seems harsh but I feel like the sweating that happens while sleeping is a part of the problem.

Try using a dryer soap (no lotions) and rubbing alcohol. Don’t pop them as that causes scarring.
